QuantStudio Real-Time PCR Software is a Windows-based application developed by Life Technologies for instrument control and data analysis on Applied Biosystems QuantStudio real-time PCR systems. It streamlines experiment setup, run monitoring, and post-run analysis for gene expression (relative quantification), absolute quantification with standard curves, SNP genotyping, copy number variation, and melt curve workflows. The guided plate setup simplifies assay assignment and thermal cycling configuration, with support for multiplex reactions and templates to speed routine work. During a run, the software provides real-time amplification monitoring and quality checks.
Post-run, it offers automatic baseline correction and Cq/Ct calling, efficiency and standard curve calculations, replicate grouping with outlier handling, and rich visualization tools including amplification plots, standard curves, allelic discrimination plots, and melt peaks. Results can be compiled into customizable reports and exported in common formats such as CSV, XLS, and PDF. Optional Security, Audit, and e-Signature features support compliance needs in regulated environments.
